We are two bilingual moms who are passionate about raising bilingual, faith-filled kids! We officially started our little escuelita after years of "unofficially" holding escuelita in our respective homes with our own children. We've been long-time friends, but once we became neighbors we knew we wanted to co-teach our 7 kids (collectively), and not long after some of our other mom friends started joining us! We quickly realized there was a void in our community that needed filling, and Angelitos Spanish Immersion Preschool was born! One year after opening, we became a nonprofit organization so that we can better serve our students, teachers, and communities.

 

Our preschool program currently has three teachers: Nicole Cordova, Yesica Botero Trawick, and Yury Herrera Martinez. Between the three of us we hold two Bachelor's degrees (one in Early Childhood Ed. and one in Special Ed.) and two Master's degrees (one in Occupational Therapy and one Elementary Education). We have experience teaching in dual language and preschool programs in public and private schools in the U.S.  and abroad, and extensive experience educating our own children (10 between us!) in both English and Spanish. In addition, we proudly represent three different Spanish-speaking countries!

We feel so humbled and blessed that God has chosen us for this journey, and are dedicated to following the path He's laid out for Angelitos Spanish Immersion Education, Inc. We are also so thankful for the MANY people who have supported us since the beginning, and for those who will join our team (whether students, staff or sponsors!) in the future. We look forward to discovering how we can be a blessing to your life.
