Family Field Trip: Apple Picking

🍎🍏Bring the whole family! We'll spend the day picking apples, playing on the huge playground, and enjoying time together at Marker-Miller Orchard in Winchester, Va.

We plan to meet at the orchard at 10:30 am and stay until about 1:30 pm. As we walk through the apple orchard, we'll use (and invite the kids to use) words and phrases in Spanish related to what we are seeing and doing. So we encourage you to travel the orchard with us and eat lunch with the group!

There are no fees to enter the apple orchard or playground, but you are able to purchase the Pick Your Own apple bags at three different sizes: Small bag for $6, Medium for bag $10, and Large bag for $16. You can also purchase the pre-picked apples in the Farmer's Market, along with a TON of other goodies!!

Registration is NOT required, but we'd like to know you're coming so we can lookout out for you at the orchard! Additionally, if you'd like to caravan with us (rather than meet us there), send us a quick message and we'll give you the details of our departure.

Be sure to pack a lunch and bring a jacket; sometimes the weather is a bit more cool in the mountains.
